Changes for 2010 Season

Based on feedback from HP Pro Tour members, sponsors and the horseshoe pitching community, the following changes are being implemented for the 2010 season in a effort to improve and grow the HP Pro Tour.

• $1,000 first place payout in Division I 40' & 30' with 8+ entries*
• The Championship Points system will be continued,
  however Championship Points Money WILL NOT BE PAID
• White Distributors will provide sponsorship for each tournament in lieu of Championship Points Money
• A portion of the tournament sponsorship will be added to the Division II payout


• Division I will now be 60% & above
• Division II will now be 50% - 59.99% (NEW Division)
• Division III will be under 50% (was Div. II)
• Division I membership fee reduced to $50, entry fee remains $100
• Division II membership fee remains $25, entry fee remains $50
• Division III membership fee will be $5, entry fee is $30


• HP Pro Tour events will now be sanctioned by the NHPA
• Preliminary Round 1 and Round 2 formats modified so that advancement will be based solely on ringer average and W/L respectively
• Final standings for 3rd & 4th place will be based on a single game playoff
